PRACTICE THE ART OF TEA AT FLOATING MOUNTAIN

At "The Art of Serving Tea," practice takes center stage. From day one, our students dive into the art of serving tea, where hands-on experience is key. I'll be there to guide you, providing insights, principles, and tricks along the way, but the emphasis remains on your active participation. With small, intimate groups, every student gets ample opportunities to practice during each workshop. It's through your dedicated practice that you'll truly master the art of serving tea.

TEA CEREMONY

Working with the energy of the tea ceremony.

In the realm of the tea ceremony, we delve into the exquisite art of working with the energy that surrounds this ancient practice. Beyond the meticulous preparation and precise rituals, there exists a profound connection between the tea, the practitioner, and the moment. In our workshops, we explore the harmonious synergy between mindfulness and tea ceremony, learning to channel and resonate with the energy of this centuries-old tradition. Through focused intention, serene movements, and a deep understanding of the tea's essence, we unlock the transformative power of the ceremony, allowing it to transport us to a place of tranquility, connection, and spiritual alignment. 

TEA SERVING BASICS

Essential knowledge of the tea brewing principles.

"Essential Knowledge of Tea Brewing Principles" provides a foundational understanding of the art of tea service. This workshop offers a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of tea brewing, focusing on key aspects such as water, times, ratios, teaware, and tea space. Participants will gain valuable insights into the techniques and considerations contributing to the perfect cup of tea, whether a delicate green tea or a robust dark brew. Join us to master the essentials of tea preparation and elevate your tea-serving skills to a new level of expertise.

GONG FU

Mastery of the tea brewing. Aiming for perfection

"Gong Fu Mastery" is a journey towards the pinnacle of tea brewing perfection. Rooted in the Chinese Gong Fu Cha tradition, this workshop is an immersive exploration of precision, patience, and dedication. Participants will learn the art of brewing tea with meticulous attention to detail, from the precise measurements of tea leaves to the controlled water temperature and the intricacies of teapot handling. The goal is nothing less than achieving tea brewing excellence, where each infusion reveals layers of flavor, aroma, and nuance. Join us on this path towards Gong Fu Mastery, where every cup is a step closer to the perfection of the tea experience.
